Her personal testimony:

The first time I was told that I was loved was in a fourth grade Sunday School class. Ruby King told me that Jesus loved me. I gave my life to HIm and sought to learn all I could about Him. As a teenager I taught the pre-school Sunday School class, played the piano, and cleaned the church.

College came and Jesus somehow got pushed aside with "busy"ness. Years went by quickly. I married, had two children, and worked.

One day our neighbors asked if they could take our girls to the Church of the Nazarene in Bloomington, IN. This was our introduction to the Nazarene Church. A few months later God spoke to my heart. I had promised my mother that I would never "send" my children to church. Once more I turned to God. Soon I knelt at an alter and give my life to God. A few months later I went to the church on my way home from work, knelt before God and was sanctified. I have served Him faithfully since that day.

I am still amazed after all these years that God loved me as a child, as a teenager, as a young adult (even when I wasn't serving Him), and He loves me as a grandmother. I am richly blessed.
